Locating suspect hazardous materials within the property—including lead in pipes and water main supplies, as well as asbestos in insulation and building materials—so you can make informed decisions about handling and remediation.

Older homes can contain materials that were common when they were built and are now known hazards. I identify suspect hazardous materials within a property so you can make informed decisions about handling, testing, and remediation before they become your problem.

I look for the usual suspects in the places they tend to appear, based on the age and construction of the home, and I flag what warrants further testing by a qualified lab or abatement contractor.

I am an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm (NAT-F235374-1), and I approach this the way I approach every inspection: identify it, explain the risk in plain language, and point you toward the right next step.
