Thermal Imagery (infrared)

Infrared imaging reveals temperature differences consistent with moisture intrusion, missing insulation, and electrical overheating, conditions invisible to the naked eye.

Infrared imaging lets me see temperature differences that the naked eye cannot, and those differences often reveal problems hiding behind finishes. It is one of the tools I bring to inspections where it adds real value.

A thermal camera can reveal patterns consistent with moisture intrusion behind walls and ceilings, missing or displaced insulation, and electrical components running hotter than they should. It does not see through walls and it is not X-ray, so I use it as a diagnostic guide: it tells me where to look closer and confirm with moisture meters and hands-on evaluation.

The result is that I catch conditions a visual-only inspection would walk right past.
